Caring leaders meet students where they are, building relationships that bring hope and vision. Leaders are supported by caring adults in the community who provide direction, support, prayer and encouragement.

Who We Are
at a Glance
1968
Austin Young Life began in 1968 with caring adults building relationships with high school students in central Austin. By 1971 Austin Young Life expanded to the east side and has continued to grow. Every student is welcome at Austin Young Life and can find relationship, hope and vision for life.
Over 2,000
Students participate in weekly Club, Campaigners and leader mentoring in the city. Contact your local staff to find out details for club and campaigners in your part of the city.
16 Ministries
Austin Young Life currently has active clubs at 11 public high schools and 3 public middle schools. Capernaum club for special needs and YoungLives teen mom mentoring students throughout the district. Volunteer leaders and staff work actively to serve Austin schools and build relationships with students.
Over 500
Students will attend Young Life camp this year. Each fall, students travel with leaders to LoneHollow Ranch for the best weekend of their lives at Polar Bear winter camp. In the summer, students can visit an amazing Young Life property with friends and leaders. Visit our camp page for details on trips and to register.
